ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER MEAL …

SWEET POTATO AND APPLE MUFFINS (NO SUGAR) !!!

 

Ingredients :

– 1 small sweet potato (around 70g grated)

– 3 apples (skinless and grated)

– 75g of flower

– 1 egg

– 1 tsp of baking powder

– 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon

–  2 tsp of vanilla sugar

– little bit of water

Cooking Method :

Get your owen ready at 200C fan.

Mix all of the ingredients together with a mixer until the consistency is nice and creamy. Divide in to muffin forms (around 35 mini muffins) and bake for 15 minutes. Chloe loves them and I hope that your baby will also!

FRITTATAS WITH COURGETTES

Frittatas are great for breakfast or as a snack. You can add anything in to it, this recipe is an adaptation of Annabel Karmel.

Ingredients:

– 50g wholemeal self-raising flower

– 2 tbsp of milk

– 100g grated courgette

– 50g grated carrot

– 20g grated pepper

– 2 tbsp of sweetcorn

– 50g grated cheddar
Cooking method

Beat the egg then add your milk and flower, mix it together till nice and smooth.  

Add all of the remaining ingredients and combine together.

Fry the mixture until golden and serve !

HEALTHY BABY SNACKS 

Came across this new company called Heavenly . I assume it’s new as I haven’t seen it before. 

   
 What court my eye is the flavour of those snacks. Looking at the ingredients those snack do seem to be healthy, the saturated fat is very very low, and sugar content is about 11-13% per 100g which is one of the smalles sugar content in snacks that I have found so far! I also like the fact that this snacks been designed by mum who struggled to find healthy food when weaning her baby. I will be trying tomorrow if Chloe likes it !
